SUMMARY: To strengthen and facilitate the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of children. The major focus of school nursing services, both direct and indirect, is the prevention of disability and the early detection and correction of health problems.  

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • State of Maine School Nurse Certification
  • BS Degree
  • State of Maine Professional Nursing License
  • Three [3] years experience as a professional Registered Nurse

START DATE: anticipated mid March

SALARY: full year $34,388.70 (BA Step 1) - $68,369.27 (MA+15 Step 20), based on experience and prorated from date of hire
