A story published recently in Family Circle magazine on standards based report cards and how they represent students’ work is “Making the Grade: When Do Kids Deserve A’s?” The story can be found on the magazine’s website or in the February 2012 issue.

The art teachers in RSU2 recently held a contest inviting students to create a logo for RSU2. They received many submissions. After careful consideration, they selected the design created by Emilie Greenwald of Monmouth Academy. Congratulations to Emilie! The 2nd place winner was Delilah Pierce of Richmond High School and the 3rd place winner was Natalie Young of Monmouth Academy. Congratulations to Delilah and Natalie! Many thanks to all of our students who submitted artwork for this contest! We have talented artists among us!
