Note From the Main Office

September 11, 2018

Dear MBES Families,

Hello from the Marcia Buker main office!  I just wanted to take this opportunity to remind parents and guardians of a few things going on and coming up.

The morning drop-off changes are going well.  Thank you for doing a great job dropping students off at the side (north) entrance.  The school and the children are safer because of it!

As the new cold and flu season creeps in, please remember that we request your child be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to school.  Already a number of nasty ailments are going around and we must all do our very best to keep our school healthy.

Also, coming up next Thursday, September 20th, MBES welcomes families in for our annual Open House.   Feel free to stop by from 6-7 p.m. to meet teachers, tour classrooms, and chat with friends.

Lastly, next week will begin our Fall NWEA testing.  As in past years, we will work hard to ensure that there is minimal impact on instruction.

If you have any questions feel free to email me at tmckee@kidsrsu.org or visit our website http://www.kidsrsu.org/o/mbes and click on the “News” section.  There you will find information on upcoming events, announcements, cancellations, the complete MBES Family Handbook, and much, much more.

Best Regards,

Tom McKee, MBES Principal
