The MA Express!

Greetings Mustangs!

I hope you were able to enjoy the snow day last Friday (01/07).  When we return to school on Monday (01/10), it will be a white day.  We have an early release on Friday (01/14) and the schedule for Friday will be out by Wednesday evening (01/12).  There will be no school on Monday (01/17) in observance of Martin Luther King Day; and the first semester will conclude on Friday (01/21).

Attention Senior Parents: Let’s try it again! There will be a Project Grad meeting for any parent(s) of a MA Senior who is interested in serving on this committee.  This meeting will take place in the MA Library at 5:30pm on Tuesday (01/11).  If your schedule permits, I’d love to have your participation!

Yearbook Update (from Dr. Ross):  Hello Senior Parents and Families! Each year the Monmouth Academy yearbook offers parents the chance to create a personal ad, otherwise known as a Personal Display of Affection (PDA), that will show up in the yearbook. You can add however many pictures and messages that will fit to congratulate or recognize your student. You have the option to design the ad yourself or to submit photos and messages to me and we will create an ad for you. All PDAs will be sent to you for approval before publication. Materials and payment are due by February 14.

You can order your PDA by emailing me (eross@kidsrsu.org); sending information and money into the school; or going online and searching for Monmouth Academy and choosing to create a personal ad (https://yearbookforever.com). You can design your own PDA or submit photos and messages for the yearbook staff to design it for you.

We offer the following sizes:

Full Page = $150 (up to 24 photos)

Half Page = $80 (up to 12 photos)

Quarter Page = $50 (up to 6 photos)

Eighth Page = $30 (up to 3 photos)

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to order a PDA today!

Dates to Note:

01/11 = Project Grad Meeting (MA Library @ 5:30pm for Senior parents)

01/14 = Early Release (dismissal at 11:34)

Quick Shout-Outs:  As of this update, on Saturday (01/15), our Cheerleaders are scheduled to compete in the MVCs; our Wrestling Team is scheduled to compete in the Cheverus Tournament; and our Robotics Team is scheduled to compete in the Vex Tournament (in Yarmouth).  We want to take this opportunity to wish all three teams the very best in their competitions!

That concludes this week’s edition of The MA Express!.  Take care and stay well.

Respectfully,

Mr. Ted Finn, Principal
