Dear MBES Families,
We have had great start to the school year! In fact, I would love to share some photos with you, but I can't because I need your permission to share photos with your child in them. We are waiting on quite a large number of form packets to come back with important information we need. Please take the time to complete all the back-to-school forms as soon as possible and send them back with your child.
Flu Vaccine Clinic October 18: Next week, look for the bright yellow Influenza (Flu) Vaccine form. If you wish to have your child receive a flu vaccine, return the form by September 23rd.
2022-23 MBES Student and Family Handbook: I want to make sure all of you can access your handbook so I'm sharing it again as a PDF.
Upcoming Dates
1. September 20--Picture Day
2. September 22--Open House, 5:30-6:30 (We are asking that only one or two adults come with each child, and that families visit only their child's classrooms and the common spaces in the school.)
Settling in: The first few weeks of school can take some adjustments. I noticed that by the end of this week at school things felt a little calmer: fewer tears, fewer reminders, and more smiles. I hope it's the same at your house now that we are back in the routine of school!
