SPECIAL ED TECH II:
SALARY TBD: Pay range: $17.36/hour (step 1) - $24.73/hour (step 17); Based on Ed Tech II position and/or Teacher position experience.
SUMMARY: To assist professional educators with the instruction of assigned students in order to support them to become more independent in their educational programs.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Two [2] years of post-secondary education or a combination equivalent to 60 hours of approved study in an educationally-related field; or for vocational education, two [2] years of paid applied employment within the field of assignment.
- Educational Technician II Authorization (022), NCLB Requirement (028) and CHRC Approval Certificate
SPECIAL ED TECH III:
SALARY: TBD; Pay range: $18.69/hour (step 1) - $26.65/hour (step 17); Based on Ed Tech III position and/or Teacher position experience
SUMMARY: To provide one-to-one or small group instruction for up to fifteen [15] students which would be directed at supporting a student to become more independent, behaviorally or academically in a school and/or community setting. Direct instructional services might range from the developing of basic daily living skills to the support of behavioral and/or academic skills.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Must have 90 hours of approved college credits
- Educational Technician III Authorization (023), NCLB Requirement (028) and CHRC Approval Certificate
