We are pleased to announce that Erik Gray will serve as the incoming Monmouth Academy Principal. Erik brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and skills from his years as a school administrator, literacy and instructional coach, and an English and Social Studies teacher.
Presently, Erik serves as Principal of Washburn Elementary School in Auburn (PK-Grade 5). Previously, Erik served as an Assistant Principal at Edward Little High School for six years and an Assistant Principal for the Richmond and Dresden Schools (PK-Grade 12, KIDS) for one year. In addition, Erik was a Literacy and Instructional Coach and an English and Social Studies teacher at Edward Little High School.
Erik holds Master’s Degree in Applied Literacy from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maine. Erik is a 1997 graduate of Monmouth Academy.
Erik will begin full-time at M.A. on September 18.
