Due to excessive heat and humidity in our classrooms, RSU 2 schools will be dismissed early today. The overwhelming majority of our classrooms do not have air conditioning, and they did not cool down over night. We began the day with 85 degree temps in two of our elementary schools. No p.m. Pre-K. Middle school athletics for today have been cancelled. If you have questions, please call your school's main office.

We have been searching all summer for world language teachers. Sadly, at this time we have been unable to secure any to teach elementary world language. If you know of any potential world language teachers, please encourage them to contact me as soon as possible.

Dresden Elementary School will be closed today, Monday, May 1, due to multiple road closures. There will be no transportation for grades 6-12 Dresden students to Hall-Dale Middle High School today.
