ANTICIPATED OPEN POSITION SPANISH TEACHER
MONMOUTH ACADEMY & MONMOUTH MEMORIAL SCHOOL GRADES 7-12
Position Description: We are seeking a dynamic individual and student-centered educator to teach Spanish to students in grades 7-12. Must have a strong academic background and fluency in Spanish. Must be able to engage learners and understand Maine Learning Standards.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree with course emphasis in area to be taught
● Must hold (or be eligible to hold) the required certification/endorsement
● Must hold current Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) certification
Start Date: As soon as a suitable candidate is found.
Salary: Based on teacher position experience and in accordance with the wage scale in the 2024-25 Teachers Collective Bargaining Agreement: $42,597.33(BA/step 1) – 78,130.69 (MA+15/step 22) The complete contract year is 182 days.
