We are currently seeking a School Nutrition worker floater to support multiple school kitchens across our district. As a floater, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring students receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a clean, safe and friendly environment.
This Position is Monday through Friday (6) hours a day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare and serve breakfast & Lunch according to USDA and district guidelines
· Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and cafeteria
· Traveling between school sites to fill in as needed
· Operate kitchen equipment safely & efficiently
· Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations
REQUIREMENTS:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Valid Maine CHR-C (background & Fingerprinting)
· Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
· Knowledge and use of a computer
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
· Previous food service experience preferred but not required
· Flexibility and a positive attitude are a must
START DATE: Immediately
SALARY: $17.75/hr.
