Due to one positive case connected to MMS, all students will be remote learning next Monday and Tuesday, as well as Monday 11/30. At this time we anticipate a return to the regular hybrid schedule beginning Tuesday 12/1/20.
Principal Barter and/or teachers will send a separate message with remote learning instructions for students and families.
DES has no power. Staff and students will try to work remote today.

Remote learning day tomorrow (Fri 10/30/20) for Marcia Buker Elementary School.
Thu/Fri and 4 day students, check your see saw and google classroom assignments tomorrow. School staff will be reaching out to families.
Mon/Tues students follow your regular plan for tomorrow.
Mary Paine is acting as Principal while Principal McKee is out. He says hello by the way. He is working on feeling better.
Contact tracing is under way at Marcia Buker Elementary School in Richmond. No other school in RSU 2 is impacted at this time.
Out of an abundance of caution which will allow complete and thorough contact tracing, Marcia Buker staff and students will be working remotely tomorrow.
More communication will be sent out tomorrow regarding next week. As always, please respect the privacy of others in these tough times.

We have an amazing group of drivers that come to work everyday. They are dedicated, caring and professional.
RSU # 2 School buses traveled 315,135 miles last year transporting on average 1200-1400 students daily to and from school.
